Nueva York. Ronnie es un matón que empieza el día con el pie izquierdo: su protegido, un asesino de poca monta, mata a alguien equivocado. Un líder de la mafia pone precio a su cabeza, y Ronnie deberá hacer un trato para salvar su vida… Lo que pasará a continuación será un torbellino de muerte y traiciones, del que Ronnie intentará salir vivo… Solo recuerda algo: el primero en jalar el gatillo permanece con vida.
